THE ARTEFACT AS RESULT OF A REPEATED ACTION.
Performing without an audience, I created a collection of artefacts over a time of 2 months in my appartment. The objects serve as a memory of me experiencing absent moments during my theoretical research. I used clay to re-unite my body and mind, while manipulating the material until my mind was back at where my body was – in the here and now. Together these absent moments become an archive. An archive of me aiming to regain presence.
Element #01 from the ‘Series of Body-Clay-Experiments, Title: Finding back – A ceramic archive, Material: earthenware, plastic bags, paper, archival box
